Memorandum

1.
After receiving several Departmental Feedback Forms from concerned personnel, the Database Maintenance Staff would like to reassure personnel that The SCP Foundation Database is indeed proceeding through the catalog of SCP objects in numerical order, and there are no plans to deviate from this main course of action except to fulfill requests from our patrons for the release of documentation on SCP objects outside of this Main Series. Large and complicated documentation for objects in the Main Series, such as that for SCP-093 and the upcoming SCP-096, may take more time to release, and as a result may have more patron requests fulfilled in the lead-up to their release, but the Main Series will always pick up again where it left off. Speaking of which…

2.
Work on the documentation for SCP-096 is underway. This entry contains a large number of interviews, video, and experiment logs, and so will require more time to complete, as mentioned above. This will result in at least two weeks without new entry releases while staff prepares the SCP-096 documentation. However, this will NOT take anything even vaguely approaching the amount of time that was needed to complete SCP-093, and personnel will see its release in September 2022. The Database maintenance staff thanks you again for your patience.

3.
Beginning with SCP-096, personnel can expect to find an “outro” at the end of each new entry. This outro will credit the authors of the documentation and the staff who helped prepare it, as well as invite the personnel accessing the file to join us on social media and, more importantly, on Patreon. The Database Maintenance staff feels that mentioning our Patreon at the end of each entry and encouraging more personnel to become patrons will help prevent us needing to accept sponsorships that would require ad reads at the beginning of each entry or, god forbid, in the middle of each entry. It is worth noting that The SCP Foundation Database is currently severely under-patroned for the size of its “audience”, and so more should be done to keep it in working order, and more still to develop and improve it. If only 5% of its audience pledged just $1 per month, the Database Maintenance staff, which currently consists of a single technician who is very tired, would be able to afford to hire the increasingly necessary assistance he has been lacking, as well as be able to pay his voice actors what they are worth and quickly upgrade their equipment. He relies solely on his patrons to fund this project, and must begin inviting more personnel to join their ranks more often if The SCP Foundation Database is to continue to survive.

On that note, the Database Maintenance staff would like to thank new Patreon patrons: Aikenova, Alex Yiap, Amelia Brownstein, BloodyRoses2, Brys Chiasson, Caden Supple, Chelsea Robinson, Chitoo120, CommanderAFurry, CrsedInferno, Dalunamastero, Denox the Shork, DetectivBananas, Garion Pankievich, Irokutara, John Paine, JonEvan Pomeroy, Kay MacKenzie, Luke Shackelford, Matthew Vanderwolf, Michael Loster, Montanam802, Nick Mita, Qc Lion, Rj Reid, Salty Buckets, Silvy, spikefire, The faceless old woman who secretly lives in your home, Tim Radeck, Tony O, Trinity, Truls Hagman, and Vizman-7.

If any other personnel would like to expand their access to the Database to include new Joke SCPs, audio log outtakes, exclusive merch, an invite to the private Discord server, and the ability to request that object briefings on specific SCPs be made available, they may follow the link in the description to visit patreon.com/thescpfoundationdatabase.
