Hi, it’s Josh. This is just a very quick message to say that, if you’re looking forward to our SCP-173 episode, I have good news: It’s available for you to listen to right now, because we did it already. Our SCP-173 episode was released just over five years ago, specifically on September 23rd, 2021 if you’d like to go find it. One of our first patrons had requested it, so we did it way early while we were still working on 093. We also did an SCP Tale about 173 called “Revised Entry” on October 11th, 2021. I’ve put links to both [below] for those who use Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or SoundCloud.
Since we’ve done 173 already, we’re not going to do it again, obviously. So, to take its place in the schedule, we will instead be doing an episode on an SCP related to 173 that was chosen by our patrons on Patreon. After that, we’ll continue the Main Series with SCP-174.
Also, a reminder that, generally on the first week of each month (so, this week), we release an episode on a Joke SCP for our patrons who pledge $3 or more per month, and on those weeks we don’t release an episode here on this main feed. So, if you’d like more than just this message to listen to this week, you can head to patreon.com/thescpfoundationdatabase where you can also get other bonus content, a private Discord invite, merch, the ability to request episodes, and the ability to participate in polls like the one that decided our SCP-173 replacement. Or you can just sit tight till next week’s episode.
Either way, thanks for listening.
